A North American manufacturer of FACTS wanted to understand the product potential and competition landscape to align their bids accordingly for specific geographical scope. Goal was to extract following insights:
a.Country specific active players from as per defined regional scope
b.Market opportunity for these systems based on upcoming projects
c.Country specific list of EPCs involved in FACTS projects
A detailed list of previous projects, with project name, customer details, project suppliers, technology and capacity, were provided so competition can be well understood based on the country under focus. Additionally, PTR provided the client with a comprehensive list of upcoming FACTS projects with tentative award dates so client’s teams can align the resources and bid for these projects in time. This research was an extract from PTR’s FACTS project database which contains around 3,500 projects incl. installed base and announced future projects. A separate list of EPCs were provided to the client so they can evaluate options of local partnerships.
