Cognito is PTR’s expert network, connecting clients with specialists in Power Grids and the New Energy sector for B2B consultations. In today’s fast-paced research environment, Cognito stands out as a first-of-its-kind service, offering swift, secure, and reliable access to the latest research and insights. Our Network team is seeking a Sales specialist to drive client acquisition and revenue growth for Cognito by identifying potential clients, understanding their research needs, and offering tailored expert consultation solutions that strengthen client relationships and support high-quality, insight-driven decision-making.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients in the power grid and new energy sectors for expert consultations.
  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, and social media channels.
  • Understand client research needs and propose tailored expert engagement solutions through Cognito.
  • Communicate Cognito’s value proposition effectively and manage the complete sales cycle from lead to closure.
  • Maintain accurate client and sales activity records in HubSpot (CRM) and prepare periodic performance reports.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while ensuring a strong and healthy sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or client engagement, preferably within research or expert network industries.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot for managing leads and sales activities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a results-driven mindset.
