A Japanese manufacturer of FACTS wanted to expand its business in Europe and understand the market opportunity for these systems in the regions based on upcoming projects. The idea was to understand the product and competition landscape to align their bids accordingly.
PTR provided the client with a comprehensive list of upcoming FACTS projects by utility in Europe with tentative ITT dates so client’s teams can align the resources and bid for these projects in time. Additionally, a detailed list of previous projects, with project suppliers, technology, capacity and pricing were provided so competition can be well understood based on the utility in question. This research was an extract from PTR’s FACTS project database which contains around 3,500 projects incl. installed base and announced future projects.
