Power Technology Research (PTR) is a strategic growth advisory firm helping companies in the electrical infrastructure space with market research, strategic advisory and marketing services. We pride ourselves in providing customers high-value intelligence and advice to inform strategy and investment, while ensuring a highly transparent and flexible methodology in our analysis. We are a very lean and fast-moving B2B company, investing and/or pivoting to capture market demand. The candidate will work with our clients in the Americas, spanning multiple geographies and industries, to support and grow their businesses.

Your Task will Include:

  • Navigate target accounts among complex Fortune-1000 organizations to identify the key decision makers and learn about their relevant needs (market intelligence, marketing support, strategic advisory).
  • Initial prospecting and identification of opportunities in North America to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Work through the identification, initial interest and RFP phases of the customer journey and take a lead on creating proposals for these RFPs with help from the execution team.
  • Manage customer accounts moving forward once a deal is closed with them, using key account management and account-based marketing tools, to ensure repeat business and client growth.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Americas BU and Executive Management team on the sales strategy, creating the required structure necessary for growth.
  • Collaborate with the product development to relay insights from the front-line discussions with the customers to guide product/service development.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience in B2B sales role, ideally with a company involved in market research or power grid/new energy domain.
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or any relevant field.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence to empathize with the prospects while learning about their problems.
  • Experience working with a CRM system (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Open to working 100% remotely and to travel across Americas (and beyond) as needed.
