Latvia begins to expand its network slowly and steadily

by Nov 24, 2020

Latvia is one of the smallest markets in Europe, currently it has around 245 publicly available charging points and 70 charging stations. On the other hand, Latvia experienced 65% more new registrations this year compared to last year which takes the number of vehicles on-road over thousand. In light of the growing need for public and semi public chargers Latvian Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) is cooperating with businesses to add chargers in the whole country. The plan is to double the current number of stations by the end of 2021, which will take the number of charging stations to 150.
